Refund Policy

Paddle.com Market Ltd. (or Paddle.com Inc. for US customers) acts as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for CamPrompter. This refund policy is governed by Paddle's Invoiced Consumer Terms and Conditions.
Consumer Right to Cancel
If you are a Consumer (purchasing for personal use), you have the right to cancel this Agreement and return the Product within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period expires after 14 days from the day after completion of the Transaction.
Important Exception: Your right to cancel does not apply to Digital Content (software) that you have started to download, install, or otherwise acquire. By downloading or installing CamPrompter, you consent to immediate performance of this Agreement and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the download or installation has begun.
Refund Policy
Refunds are provided at the sole discretion of Paddle (our payment processor) and on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be refused if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behavior.
This does not affect your rights as a Consumer in relation to Products which are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.
Eligible for Refund
The following purchases may be eligible for a refund within 14 days:
- Monthly Subscriptions: First payment only (within 14 days of initial purchase, before download/installation)
- Yearly Subscriptions: Full refund if requested within 14 days of initial purchase, before download/installation
- Perpetual Licenses: Full refund if requested within 14 days of purchase, before download/installation
- Pre-orders: You can request a refund for any reason until the content is delivered
Note: For subscription services, your right to cancel is only present following the initial subscription and not upon each automatic renewal.
Not Eligible for Refund
The following are NOT eligible for refunds:
- Digital Content Already Acquired: Software that has been downloaded, installed, or otherwise acquired (you lose your right of withdrawal once download begins)
- Renewal Payments: Subscription renewals after the first billing cycle are non-refundable
- After 14 Days: Requests made more than 14 days after the day after completion of the Transaction
- Unused Subscription Periods: No refunds on unused subscription periods
- Wire Transfers: Orders paid via wire transfer are not protected under the Consumer Credit Act and are not eligible for refunds (except sales tax refunds above $/£/€100 at Paddle's discretion)
- Fraud/Abuse: Refunds may be refused if there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or manipulative behavior
- Violations: Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Contact Us
Email us at dnyantra@gmail.com within 14 days of your purchase.
- Include Required Information
Please include the following in your refund request:
- Your email address used for purchase
- Order/transaction ID (found in your Paddle receipt email)
- Reason for refund (optional, but helps us improve)
- Processing Time
We will process your refund request without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel. You will receive a confirmation email once approved.
- Refund Method
Refunds are processed through Paddle (our payment processor) and will be returned using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
Subscriptions
Paid Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled. Your right to cancel is only present following the initial subscription and not upon each automatic renewal.
Cancellation (No Refund)
- You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Please provide your order number and the email address used to purchase the Product
- Your cancellation will take effect at the next payment date
- You will retain access until the end of your current billing period
- No refunds on unused subscription periods
- No further charges will be made after the current period ends
Free Trials
- Certain Paid Subscriptions may offer a free trial before charging you
- If you decide to unsubscribe before we start charging your payment method, you must cancel the subscription before the expiration of the trial period
- Contact us to cancel during the trial period
Refund Request (Within 14 Days, Before Download)
- Full refund of the purchase amount (only if requested before download/installation)
- Access to the software will be immediately revoked upon refund processing
- Subscription will be canceled automatically
Partial Refunds
We do not offer partial refunds or pro-rated refunds for:
- Unused time on monthly or yearly subscriptions
- Features you did not use
- Subscription downgrades (e.g., from Yearly to Monthly)
The only exception is if you request a full refund within the 14-day cancellation period and before downloading/installing the software.
Payment by Wire Transfer
It's your responsibility to provide us with the correct payment details (your unique bank transfer reference number), Company VAT/sales tax code, and order information to avoid delays in your order fulfilment.
Important: Orders where payments are made via wire transfer are not protected under the Consumer Credit Act (CCA) and are therefore not eligible for a refund. However, in cases where the transaction amount, including sales tax, is above $/£/€100, you may be entitled to a refund including the sales tax you paid, at Paddle's discretion.
Indirect Sales Tax Refund Policy
If you've been charged sales tax on your purchase and are registered for sales tax in the country of purchase, you may be entitled to a refund of the sales tax amount if permitted by the laws applicable in such country. Sales taxes include VAT, GST, Consumption Tax and others as applicable.
You must contact Paddle within 60 days after completing the purchase to be eligible for a sales tax refund. This refund will only be processed upon the provision of a valid sales tax code for your country.
All refund requests received after 60 days from the date of the Transaction will not be processed.
Products Not as Described, Faulty, or Not Fit for Purpose
This refund policy does not affect your rights as a Consumer in relation to Products which are:
- Not as described
- Faulty or defective
- Not fit for purpose
If you believe your Product falls into any of these categories, please contact dnyantra@gmail.com to discuss your situation. These requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We're committed to resolving any issues and will work with you to find a solution.
If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first:
- Your license will be immediately revoked
- You will be permanently banned from purchasing CamPrompter in the future
- We may pursue the chargeback through Paddle's dispute resolution process
